Barbara’s love of interior design began while growing up in a charming, southern Connecticut town with a mother who was always decorating and hunting for the perfect antique. “Instead of reading the latest mystery, I was driving through neighborhoods looking at houses and pouring over my mother’s interior design magazines. I was a fan of Mark Hampton and Mario Buatta by the age of 15″!
Barbara loves working with clients to exceed their expectations. “I enjoy creating a layered design concept that is not perfect or overdone looking”. Barbara believes a person’s home should be a beautiful, comfortable, place to enjoy life’s blessings. ” A home should reflect what is important to the people who live there, how they live, entertain, work, and relax”.
Barbara’s work can presently be seen at the 2011 Baltimore Symphony Decorators’ Show House at The Ritz Carlton on the Inner Harbor.
